NASTA is designed to evaluate students' skills and abilities beyond basic academic knowledge. The assessment focuses on three main skill areas: Knowing, Applying, and Reasoning. Each of these skills areas is further divided into 8 sub-skills, providing a comprehensive understanding of a student's capabilities. Below is the detailed assessment pattern of NASTA.
What type of questions are asked in NASTA?
NASTA assessment includes multi-choice questions based on problem-based figures, series completion, odd one out, coding-decoding, mirror images, embedded figures, symmetry, alphabetical test questions etc.

The complexity of the NASTA question paper varies according to the class. Each question paper is designed by carefully considering the students' knowledge, ability, and reasoning capacity appropriate for their grade.
